Strengthening the Security and Safety of the United Nations Premises Mark K. Morrison moderated a working session on Perimeter Access Controls at the United Nations’ New York City Campus. This was part of a two day Security Experts consultative meeting sponsored by the United Nations Security Consultation Committee. Upon completion of the security study our firm prepared concept designs, preliminary drawings and contract documents for a new perimeter steel fence. Several design options were provided for the fence based on the historic International Design Style originally developed for the site. Our firm worked with a metal fabricator to construct mock-ups of the Fence panel design selected for Final review and approval by the United Nations management team prior to complete fabrication and installation to ensure that all of the client’s needs were met.
