One Lincoln Plaza is under construction

MKM was selected by Ogden CAP Properties to serve as the Project Landscape Architect to assist with the design of a 20,000 square-foot intensive green roof on their One Lincoln Plaza property, which faces Broadway and is bound to the north and south by West 64th and 63rd Streets.  Green roof construction at 1 Lincoln Plaza is moving forward on schedule.

 

1 Columbus Place

MKM is working with CookFox and The Brodsky Organization to design two green roofs at 1 Columbus Place, a large residential community several blocks west of Central Park.  The design for Floor 4 is near completion.

Private Residence, Salisbury CT

MKM is designing and installing a series of landscape improvements for the owner of an expansive lakeside property in Salisbury, CT.  Within the MKM has integrated native plantings into a stream corridor, custom designed a gated entry, developed an orchard, reworked terracing that surrounds the main house, and is currently planning a vehicular entry courtyard.

MKM has been awarded a new contract by NYC Parks

MKM is one of a handful of qualified firms selected to provide landscape architectural and construction services on an ongoing basis for NYC Parks, and to help NYC Parks implement several ambitious current goals that will make open spaces more available citywide.

Bilkent Student Residences

MKM is working with FX Fowle to design the landscape surrounding a new student residence on Bilkent University’s Ankara campus. 

MKM WELCOMES DI LU AND YIFAN SUN

MKM welcomes Di Lu and Yifan Sun as new Landscape Designers. Before joining MKM, Di worked for P. E. L. A. Design in Baltimore, MD. Since his academic background and various experience, Di has expertise in LEED accreditation, GIS modeling, and Post-Occupancy Evaluation. Yifan previously worked for EDSA Orient and Elizabeth Kennedy Landscape Architecture, PLLC before joining Mark K. Morrison Landscape Architecture, PC. She has experiences with various works in different stages of projects including design development, construction documentation and construction administration. She believes design must take into account the health of people and the environment as well as aesthetics.
