As Director of Production and Construction Services, Mr. Hopper brings thirty years of professional experience to the team and is responsible for a seamless transition from the approved Schematic Design to the production of a complete and coordinated Construction Documentation Package. Mr. Hopper has the expertise to solve the reconstruction strategies necessary for open space initiatives which include walks, fencing, play areas, sitting areas, community recreation areas, sport fields both synthetic turf and natural turf, parking areas and associated drainage and lighting.  This includes resolving issues throughout the lifecycle of the project so that it is completed on time within budget at the appropriate quality level and meets user needs. His responsibilities include scheduling office workloads to meet tight or multiple deadlines, detailed supervision of the staff involved in the development of the site opportunities and constraints, the establishment of budgets based on developed scopes of work,  production of contract drawings, specifications, cost estimates and coordination with sub-consultants. 

Len is a LEED AP certified professional and the only Landscape Architect in the country that is accredited as a Building Security Certified Professional.  Len has co-authored several technical books on Landscape Architectural and security site design principles.  In addition, he is currently an adjunct professor  at Columbia University, City College of New York and  the Farmingdale campus of the State University of New York.  Len is involved with the Sustainable Sites Initiative, a multi-disciplinary partnership of the American Society of Landscape Architects, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center and the United States Botanic Garden, serving on the Health and Human Well-Being Technical Subcommittee.  The goal of Sustainable Sites Initiative is to establish a set of guidelines and performance benchmarks that will provide a basis for a Sustainable Sites Initiative Rating System and User Guide.
